Race Day Blackout. What you've got in training, you get to keep on race day.

You've got a thousand clean reps in your body. On the day it counts, you suddenly can't reach them. And there's a reason for that no training plan can fix.

What it is

A race day blackout is the moment your ready-to-go performance just disappears under competition pressure. Your nervous system flips into protection mode, and that cuts off fine motor control, timing, and access to everything you've drilled. The skill is there. In the moment that matters, you just can't get to it.

Sound familiar?

Your last training run went perfectly. In the race, your legs feel like someone else's.
You're at the start, you know every move by heart, and your head just goes blank.
Your warm-up was perfect. The second the signal goes, everything tips over.
Friends tell you that wasn't you out there, and you know exactly what they mean.
On the drive home after the race, your performance comes back on its own.

Why more of the same won't fix it.

Under competition pressure, your nervous system takes over. It reads the situation as danger and shuts down exactly the systems you need for clean performance: fine motor skills, timing, clear decisions. That's why another week of training won't fix this. You're training muscles that already know what to do. The problem sits one level deeper, somewhere no interval session can reach.

This block isn't a thought you can just think away. It's got a physical address, a place that tightens, pulls, goes shallow, or goes numb the second the race starts. That's exactly where a session works. Not in your head.

The way out: one session.

1

Find your desired feeling

We start with what you want carrying you on race day. A feeling of calm, of ground under your feet, of clear access, anchored in your heart space. That becomes your lighthouse. Everything else lines up behind it.

2

Locate the block, don't explain it

Then you locate the block in your body. No explaining, no analyzing, just finding it: where does the tightness sit when you think about the start? Your body knows the spot right away, often faster than your mind does. Your Guide only asks where, while you feel your way there.

3

Release it and anchor it for 40 days

In the session, the block releases right there at that spot. To keep it released, the app takes over: 40 days, morning and evening, about 90 seconds each time. Short enough to fit any training schedule, long enough for your nervous system to save the new state as normal.

Common questions.

Why does the blackout happen in competition and never in training?
Because training feels safe to your nervous system, and competition doesn't. The pressure, the eyes on you, the one-shot nature of the moment switch protection mode on. The block is there the whole time. It just shows up when it actually counts. That's exactly the link we untangle.
Do I have to talk about anything?
No. FIVE MOVES works through the body, not through talking. You don't have to unpack any story or explain anything you don't want to. It's enough to feel where in your body it gets tight. The session does the rest through your body.
Is one session enough before competition?
The release happens in one session, that's the core of the method. Plan it early enough that the 40 days of app anchoring can run their course before your competition. A few weeks ahead is ideal. Then the new state is locked in when you need it.
Is this mental training or therapy?
Neither. Mental training works through imagining and repeating things in your head. Therapy works through your past. FIVE MOVES goes straight to the physical spot of the block and releases it there. It's its own body-based method, developed over roughly 1,000 sessions by more than 40 Guides in five countries.

What holds you back has an address.

Over 40 certified guides in 5 countries work with this method. Around 1,000 people have had a session. Yours takes 90 minutes.
