FIVE MOVESvs. Somatic Experiencing
Body wisdom over time. FIVE MOVES – one session.
The Method
What is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing (SE), developed by Peter Levine, works with body sensations to gently resolve stored trauma responses. It tracks activation, titration, and completion of survival responses.
SE is gentle, body-oriented and highly effective for trauma. The limitation: it typically requires long-term work with a trained therapist, and the process unfolds slowly over many sessions.

| Body involvement | Central | Central |
