Blockage
The physically locatable feeling that blocks access to the desired feeling.
Definition
The blockage (German: Blockade) is the physically locatable feeling that blocks access to the desired feeling. It shows up as pressure, tightness, heat, heaviness or cold at a concrete address in the body. Often in the belly, the chest, the throat, the jaw or the solar plexus. The Guide never gives the position. The body finds it itself. In FIVE MOVES the blockage always has a variable physical address, while the desired feeling sits constantly in the heart space. These two coordinates make the method precise and non-retraumatising: we do not search the past for causes, we work with the address in the now.
