Anchoring
The 40 days after the session. Twice 90 seconds daily, app-guided.
Definition
Anchoring is the name for the 40 days after the session. The Mover practises a compact app-guided exercise twice a day for 90 seconds. In the morning shortly after waking and in the evening shortly before falling asleep. According to Wolfgang Klimesch (University of Salzburg), these two time windows are the phases with the highest theta wave activity, when the subconscious is most open to new patterns. 40 days correspond to the lower bound of the habit formation research by Phillippa Lally (UCL, 66 days on average). Anchoring neurologically anchors the transformation reached in the session and makes it hold in everyday life.
