Racing Thoughts. You can't switch off the carousel. But you can get off it.

The day's over, and your head is holding a meeting nobody signed up for. The harder you try to think it away, the faster it spins.

What it is

Racing thoughts means your mind keeps circling and thinking harder won't stop it, usually right when things outside finally go quiet. It can be a sign of an emotional block that gets loud in your head because it has nowhere else to go. FIVE MOVES doesn't fight the thoughts. It works on what's driving them.

Sound familiar?

You've played the thing through three times and the fourth time changes nothing.
You tell yourself to calm down, and that's exactly when it gets louder.
One sentence from this afternoon is stuck on repeat.
You get up, drink some water, lie back down, and it starts right back up.
During the day, with all the noise, it's quiet. Alone at night, it's rush hour.

Why more of the same won't fix it.

Stopping the thought, counting, a meditation app. For a moment it goes quiet, then it starts spinning again, often faster. Because circling thoughts aren't a bad habit you can train away. Your nervous system is keeping something open and sending out thoughts until it gets noticed. Thinking it away doesn't work, because thinking was never the actual problem.

As much as it looks like it's all in your head, the carousel has a home in your body. Something tightens or pulls somewhere when the thoughts kick off, you'll notice it the moment you check in. A block isn't an idea, it has a spot. And a spot can be visited.

The way out: one session.

1

Find your desired feeling

The start isn't a fight against your head, it's a question pointed down: how is it supposed to feel when you just get to lie there at night? Your Guide helps you find that feeling in your heart space, that calm, that openness. It becomes your lighthouse for everything after.

2

Locate the block, don't explain it

Then it's about locating, not analyzing. You're not looking for the perfect argument, you're feeling for where the circling starts in your body. Your Guide won't tell you where that is. Your body shows it, and it's often not your head.

3

Release it and anchor it for 40 days

Once you've found the spot, you release the block in that one Session. Then come forty days of anchoring with the app, morning and evening, about ninety seconds each. So the night stops turning into a meeting and just gets to be night.

Common questions.

What if there's an anxiety disorder or depression behind the rumination?
If the circling has been wearing you down for weeks, leaves you stuck, or comes with dark thoughts, that belongs in medical or therapeutic hands first. FIVE MOVES doesn't diagnose and doesn't replace treatment. Once that's been addressed and an emotional issue is driving your head, we work on that.
Do I have to lay out my thoughts?
No. You don't have to describe what's circling or hand over any analysis. FIVE MOVES works through the body, not through putting it into words. Your Guide doesn't need to hear your thoughts to work with you.
Can one Session solve years of overthinking?
The block behind it gets released in one Session. Making it stick is what the forty days with the app are for. Across around a thousand Sessions the pattern is always the same: one clear moment, then calm repetition.
Is this therapy?
No. FIVE MOVES is a body-based method, not psychotherapy and nothing medical. Where there's a medical condition, professional care comes first, we work alongside that on the emotional block.
